Introduction to the core foundation of the dance:
- Exercises that strengthen the core strengh of the body and bone alignmente
- Stepping: Chouka - representing the masculine aspect of the dance in honor of Lord Jagannatha. There are 10 different dance steps. They will develop your core body strengh and your perception on Odissi rhythm and dance, as they are the basics for any dance choreography.
- Body Isolations: head, eyes, neck and torso movements.
- Dance Mudras
